What is your photography approach?

My mission is to craft timeless images of my couples’ most treasured moments, emphasizing a documentary style approach with a hint of editorial flair. I am dedicated to preserving memories authentically and creating a stress-free, seamless experience for engaged couples looking to tell their story truthfully. Led by core values of trust, creativity, and intentionality and a long-term goal of allowing my couples to feel understood and cared for, I strive to create timeless works of art that will stand the test of time for generations to come. 

WHAT IS YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?

My shooting style is largely documentary with a touch of editorial. Majority of the day I'll be a fly on the wall capturing raw moments as they unfold but when it comes time for portraits I love to get creative. 

Some couples want their day captured completely documentary style while others want more posing and editorial style images throughout the day. I work personally which each of my couples in order to develop a complete understanding of the type of photography experience they are hoping for. 

What is your editing style?

I would describe my editing style as true to life with a touch of warmth. When you look back at your photos I want you to be able to remember how everything really looked. A touch of warmth and sometimes a bit of grain to evoke a feeling of nostalgia. 

Will there be a travel fee?

All locations within a 50 mile round trip from me do not require a travel fee! A fee for locations outside of this range will be determined based on distance. Most Virginia couples pay between $65-$250 for travel. An additional lodging fee may be charged for further locations.

What is your delivery process?

After your wedding you'll receive a sneak peek gallery within 72 hours. Your full gallery will be delivered within 5-6 weeks! All photos are delivered via online gallery.

do you photoshop?

I do not photoshop images. I minimally retouch images to remove any temporary flaws such as a pimple or bruise but will not alter an image further than that. I believe in capturing real moments, even if they’re not perfect. 

Are your packages customizable?

Yes! I offer a range of packages that fit majority of my couple's needs but if you don't see exactly what you're looking for we'll chat to create a custom package perfect for you. 

can we get the raw files?

I do not deliver raw files. editing is a key aspect in my creative process and without it i believe your images would be incomplete. My clients book me because they love my style!

do you travel out of state?

yes! while i'm based in Virginia, i will travel anywhere to capture your love story.

HOW do we book with you?

Fill out my contact form and I'll reach out with more info! from there we'll set up a call to get to know each other. after that I'll send a proposal via email where you can officially book your date by paying a 30% retainer and signing our contract.
